Gold Digger Turned GirlFriend?

Well my friends... I am once again confused by the BULLSHIT we're putting in our music... Kanye mad a HUGE splash with Gold Digger. He just came right out and called the bitch a gold digger right? And we have all been schooled on what a gold digger is. Lately I've been hearing alot of songs that encourage trickin'. So where do we really stand? What happened? Did all the gold diggers make enough dough to get all the plastic surgery so that they could be as fine as you need em to be for you to spend MORE money on em? Or is it that it's much easier to give a woman money than it is to give her time and conversation and all the essentials to getting to know em? I'm asking these questions as a single woman who is just trying to find her place in the dating world. Let a sister know whats up. I currently pay all my own bills, buy groceries, do my own hair and nails, and when I wanna shop I'm footin the bill. Am I doing it wrong? Teach me something. Peace.
