heart vs. mind

It's crazy how sometimes the heart can betray the mind. You make up in your mind that you aren't going to allow yourself to do a certain thing or feel a certain way then there's that one muthafucka who know their way around your heart and your feelings. You find yourself going against what your mind is telling you. The heart takes over and you're left in a fucked up situation in the end because that particular individual had a plan of their own and you fell right into place. Did exactly what they needed from you.... YOU fucked up. It can't possibly be their fault that they took advantage of you. It's you. Not them. FUCK that. Always, always, always and always listen to that little voice in the back of your mind.That's your instinct. If it is telling you to stay away...... listen.
